After only recently becoming aware that the colonies had won the war, the Queen of England has crossed the pond to find out what went wrong. While she's here, perhaps she'll have a chance to meet with George Bush, the King of America.
Already, though, a major controversy has erupted. Annie Leibovitz, famed American photographer, is being lambasted in some quarters for her official portrait of the Queen. Apparently, it's not exciting enough, because God knows, nothing quite says excitement like the Queen of England.
While she's here, she'll take time to watch the ponies run and show off her spiffy hats. And we'll all be the better for it.
